The blog is working!!!!
Hello (finally!)
I'm in the process of getting everything updated on the website, and our blog is finally working! Which is great, because I have a lot to say!
1 - Thank you to everyone who came out for our VIP Dinner Party and Golf Tournament on June 14th and 15th!!! It was incredible! The HHC brought in over $50,000 on tickets, silent auction items, merchandise, and sponsorships. Thank you to all who participated and helped!
2 - Thank you also to Audrey & Co. (Simply Leighanne) for their contribution to the HHC. These girls raised $500 for the club overseas! The HHC is hoping to work with our friends abroad in the near future!
3 - I am waiting on the pictures from the photographer. We were told that we'd have them soon, so I'm hoping when I go to the mailbox today I find a package! I'll keep you updated!
4 - Many of you loved the merchandise we had for the golf tournament. That merchandise - red polos, golf kits, etc. - will be up in the store in the next few days and available to purchase.
5 - Where we go from here:
Please keep checking the "upcoming events" section on the website for new events coming up in the next few months. August 8th is Baylee's Dojo party in Alpharetta; there is a website to visit for more information on the events page. In September, we'll be working with the Retired New York City Shields of Georgia to put on a car cruise! The RNYCSGA is made up of incredible people, many of whom served as firemen and police officers in New York during the 9/11 attack. There is more information on the site, as well as their site to which we've provided a link.
We will also be working with Whole Foods to bring you guys some healthy tips on how to eat well without spending a lot of money. Whole Foods along with Sibley Cardiology and some others will also be taking a part in our newest project: the HHC's Little Black Book. The LBB will have tips on leading a healthy lifestyle, easy ways to exercise, activities that can be done with the whole family, and much more!
And finally, I'll have some new information up about the new fund for Kawasaki's research very soon as well!
Keep your eyes peeled for changes and updates on the site, as we will be updating it as much as possible. I'll also be asking for some opinions from all of you on upcoming events and ideas!
As always, you know where to find me!
