The following privacy policy was created to demonstrate the HHC’s commitment to keeping your personal information safe and confidential at all times. The HHC collects personal information for a variety of reasons. Personal information is used to provide superior customer service while speaking with an HHC employee, to ensure donations to the HHC are processed correctly, to inform users of the latest news and information regarding the HHC and to provide proper documentation to the Internal Revenue Service as listed under the laws for a registered 501(c)3 charity. In addition, personal information is collected at the HHC online store to ensure that merchandise orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner.

To protect your personal information, the HHC has enlisted several security measures throughout its web site and company policy. The HHC web site uses industry-standard SSL encryption on all pages where personal information is entered/displayed while firewalls are used to protect personal data stored on any HHC related database. Credit card information collected by the HHC via the online store or by an HHC representative is destroyed within six months of order processing.

The HHC web site provides a message board for its users. Please exercise caution when disclosing any personal information while using the message board. Information posted on the HHC message board becomes public information and the HHC is not liable for misuse of your personal information by other parties.

Contests are frequently run on the HHC web site. Personal information collected for contest purposes is used to contact the contest winner when necessary and to provide data for future HHC related contests and promotions.
